Objectives:
Students will review and practice what it means to be part of the library’s caring community by:
~~Listening to a story or watching a video on media rules
~~Reviewing and identifying ways to properly care for a book.
~~Actively participating in a follow up activity to demonstrate understanding of at least one of the media center rules
~~Demonstrating how to use a book stick properly to select and check out a book
Go over where to get a book stick and the how & why we use book sticks.
You put your Book Stick in.
You take your book right out.
You look through all the pages, to see what's it about.
You do the Bookey-Lookey to see if it's just right.
