Objectives:
Students will be able to:
1. Locate information using an online database.
2. Review the Big 6 Research Model
3. Summarize the information in a graphic organizer and apply it to their Wixie project
4. Use the Wixie paint tools, text tool, and stickers appropriately
5. Work cooperatively with their peers when necessary

- Use the library catalog to locate sources to meet an information need
- Understand the arrangement of the resources in the media center
- Follow the CCPS Acceptable Use Policy and computer rules
- Use safe online practices

- Use keywords for finding answers to questions
- Use effective search strategies for collecting information
- Use technology to find, record, and organize information
- Create a source list using a simple citation style
